seconded from P.W.D. Hong Kong would be available for these posts We believe that only one can now be

considered available and we are considering whether we should select C. W. E. Bishop for the senior position or J.G. Campbell for the Junior position.

If the former is selected we shall

recommend that he should, whilst seconded, receive duty pay at the rate of £175 p.a. plus travelling allowance.

If the latter, we should similarly recommend a duty pay of £100 per annum plus travelling allowance.

For this position we consider an engineering graduate with say two years experience of masonry dam design

and construction would be suitable.

This appointment calls for a man who has been engaged on large public works in this capacity for Contractors.

We shall in due
